Terrence Duffy
Chairman and CEO
Terrence P. Duffy has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lionhart Capital since 1992 and also as Chairman and CEO of Ferrox Critical Minerals since January 2012. Mr. Duffy has more than 30 years of experience in capital markets, investment management, private equity and mining-related corporate advisory.
In 1993, Mr. Duffy founded Lionhart Investments Ltd. in London, United Kingdom, an early hedge fund advisory firm focused on alternative investment strategies. Lionhart subsequently expanded into private equity and corporate advisory activities, with a focus on natural resources and mining companies. Through Lionhart, Mr. Duffy advised and supported the development and public market positioning of mining companies, including Petra Diamonds and Eastern Platinum.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Duffy served as Head Trader, Global Equity Derivatives at First Interstate Capital Markets.
Mr. Duffy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Purdue University.
Marta Miraglia
Corporate Administration
Marta Miraglia joined the Lionhart team in 1998 and has since held a number of key positions across investor relations, administration, and compliance. She currently oversees financial accounting, administration, human resources, and marketing for Lionhart Capital. Additionally, she manages cash operations for Ferrox Critical Minerals.
Marta brings a strong background in accounting and management within the financial and construction engineering sectors. She also has prior experience in the finance department of a Zurich-based insurance brokerage firm.
She holds a Bachelors degree in Economic Science from Newton Paiva University in Brazil and a degree in Engineering from the Kennedy Institute. Marta has also completed language studies in German in Switzerland and is fluent in Portuguese, English, and German.
Saad Hussain
Corporate Development, Executive
Saad Hussain serves as Corporate Development Executive of Lionhart Capital. His responsibilities include infrastructure, logistics, financing, and marketing, including the Company's rail and transportation arrangements with South African state-owned enterprises. He has more than ten years of experience in mining operations and corporate development in Sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on bulk and critical minerals and ferro-alloys, including magnetite, ilmenite, vanadium pentoxide, ferro-titanium, ferro-vanadium, and ferro-chromium.
Earlier in his career, he held a position with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
Mr. Hussain holds a Master of Finance from the Smith School of Business, Queen's University.
